With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bertha L. Newlan of Canton, Illinois, who passed away on November 7, 2022 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arch Gould and Opal Demery (Raner); her husband Floyd W. Newlan; her stepfather Fred Demery; her son Michael Newlan; her granddaughter Cora Leigh; and her children-in-law, Jerry Dosier and Darlene Newlan.
She is survived by: her children, Melody Dosier of Canton, Tammy Bowton (Tim) of Canton, Floyd Newlan (Tina) of Keokuk, Charles Newlan of Dallas City and Curtis Newlan (Lisa) of Laharp; and her sister Harriet Meeks. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
