Ehlers and Clara Ehlers (Hornbostel); his siblings, Wilbert Ehlers (Grace), Ernie Ehlers, Helen Wilson (Ed), Pauline Welty (Dale), Leroy, Ferdinand and Ester; his mother-in-law Leota Thies; and his nieces and nephews, Amie, Ryan Jones, Wilbert Dean Ehlers, Tina Ehlers and Vanda Welty.
He is survived by: his wife Marty Ehlers of Campbell Hill, IL; his daughters, Melissa Lange (Larry) of Ava, IL and Mindy Schneider (Darrick) of Renondo Beach, CA; his grandchildren, Jordan (Taylor), Adison Lange, Dylan, Bradyn and Kamryn Schneider; his brothers, Roy Ehlers (Pat) of Campbell Hill, IL and Ray Ehlers (Alice) of Carbondale, IL; and his siblings-in-law, Katherine Ehlers of Campbell Hill, IL, Karla Kuhnert (Bill) of Ava, IL, Lynn Jones (Carl) of Ava, IL and Arlen Thies of Campbell Hill, IL..
