The memory of Katherine Elizabeth Ehlers of Campbell Hill, Illinois, who passed away on April 22, 2025 at the age of 83, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sim James and Marjorie Alice Griffiths (Carter); her husband Ernest Ehlers, Jr.; her siblings, Rose, Russell and Jack; her children, Tina Rae Ehlers and Dennis Ehlers; and her stepdaughter Deb Middendorf.
She is survived by: her children, Russell Ehlers (Vivian) of Willisville, IL, Tracy Reed (Bill) of Willisville, IL, Jack Ehlers (Chris) of Elkville, IL, Marvin Ehlers (Stacy) of Ava, IL and Krista McHughes (Ken) of Marissa, IL; her stepson Brian Ehlers (Kristi) of Ava, IL; her stepson-in-law Bob Middendorf of Campbell Hill, IL; and her siblings-in-law, Roy Ehlers (Pat) of Campbell Hill, IL, Ray Ehlers (Alice) of Carbondale, IL and Marty Ehlers of Campbell Hill, IL.. She is also survived by her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Luke's Lutheran Church (108 S Pine St, Campbell Hill, IL 62916). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
