He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Carter of Camp Point, IL; his sons, Jacob Carter of Council Bluffs, IA, Nicholas Carter of Pittsfield, IL and Stephen Carter of Mendon, IL; his grandchildren, Caitlyn McClain, George Carter, Brennen Carter, Leif Carter and Nikki Carter; and his siblings, Charlene Russell of Irving, TX, Richard Carter of Dallas, TX, Mark Carter of Los Angeles, CA and Roger Carter of Los Angeles, CA. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
