He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Nokes and Laverna Tunis Nokes Forbes. He is survived by: his children, Aaron Nokes, Lena Rieman (Jason), Columbus, Cristy Leasman (Andrew) of Sutter, IL., Katty Nokes, Junior Nokes, Nicole Nokes, Quincy and Amanda Patterson; his siblings, David Nokes (Elaine) of Waxahachie, TX. and Glenda Bennett (Randy); and his aunt Betty Nokes. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren.
