He is survived by: his mother Carolyn Lee Wharton; his daughter Payton Ann Smith; his fiancé Dana Simmons; his father Dean Smith (Patty) of Ashland, IL.; his sister Deane Smith-Neastea; his niece Leia Lish (Luke); his nephews, Vance Neastea (Kaylee) and Cooper Neastea; his great-nieces, Haylee and Ella Lish; and his stepsister Kendra White of Jacksonville, IL.. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
