He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Helms and Helen Collins Helms; and his sister Hope Waite. He is survived by: his daughter Martha Moore; and his brothers, David Helms of LaGrange, KY and Eugene Helms (Janie) of Richardson, TX. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
