He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Wakefield and Ruby Tournear Wakefield; and his wife Judith C. Koontz. He is survived by: his daughter Cindy Griggs (Mike Griggs). He is also survived by 9 Grandchildren, and 16 Great-grandchildren.
