With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Perry D. McElwee of Camp Point, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 9, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold McElwee and Mildred McElwee; and his wife Lenore Ruffcorn. He is survived by: his children, James McElwee (Dianne) of Kansas City, MO, Randy McElwee of Monmouth, IL, Teri McElwee of Golden, IL and Susan McElwee of Ohio; his grandchildren, Stormy Dawn Gonzalez of Kansas City, MO, Josie Marie McElwee of Monmouth, IL, Jacob Tyler McElwee of Monmouth, IL, Cherokee Stopher of Quincy and Isaiah McElwee of Quincy; and his great grandchild Haisley Stopher.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Faith Baptist Church or Golden Good Shepherd Home.
