He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Gooding and Alice Davis Gooding; and his children, Brenda Lee and Leonard Lee Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Shirley A. Schwartz; his children, Terry Sorrill (Mark), Liberty, Alice Myers, Matt Fairchild, Sherry Stabler, Camp Point and Ronnie Gooding (Amy); his grandchildren, Heather Riley (Donald), Stephanie Riley (John), Timothy Myers, Derek Myers (Heather), Jason Myers (Melissa), Cameron Fairchild, Trevor Stabler, Jacob Stabler, Ashlee Gooding, Rylee Gooding, Gracee Gooding, Sarah, Loren and Leam; and his great grandchildren, Courtney, Conner, Olivia Riley, Makayla, Landon, Ali, Aisleigh Myers, Kayden, Gaberial and Collin Stabler. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
