Lenore E. McElwee Obituary
In loving memory of Lenore E. McElwee of Camp Point, Illinois, who departed this world on December 30, 2024 at the age of 82. Lenore leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Bice and Marian Ruffcorn; her sister Marilyn; and her brother-in-law Charlie Tibbets. She is survived by: her husband Perry D. McElwee; her children, James McElwee (Dianne) of Kansas City, MO, Randy McElwee of Monmouth, IL, Teri McElwee of Golden, IL and Susan McElwee of Ohio; her grandchildren, Stormy Dawn Gonzalez of Kansas City, MO, Josie Marie McElwee of Monmouth, IL, Jacob Tyler McElwee of Monmouth, IL, Cherokee Stopher of Quincy and Isaiah McElwee of Quincy; and her brothers, Lewis Charles Ruffcorn (Sharon) of Quincy and Jerry Ruffcorn of Mendon, IL. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Faith Baptist Church (1926 State Hwy 94, Camp Point, IL 62320). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Faith Baptist Church or Golden Good Shepherd Home.
