She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Bice and Marian Ruffcorn; her sister Marilyn; and her brother-in-law Charlie Tibbets. She is survived by: her husband Perry D. McElwee; her children, James McElwee (Dianne) of Kansas City, MO, Randy McElwee of Monmouth, IL, Teri McElwee of Golden, IL and Susan McElwee of Ohio; her grandchildren, Stormy Dawn Gonzalez of Kansas City, MO, Josie Marie McElwee of Monmouth, IL, Jacob Tyler McElwee of Monmouth, IL, Cherokee Stopher of Quincy and Isaiah McElwee of Quincy; and her brothers, Lewis Charles Ruffcorn (Sharon) of Quincy and Jerry Ruffcorn of Mendon, IL. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Faith Baptist Church or Golden Good Shepherd Home.
