Jerry Herkert Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 6, 2024, at the age of 86, Jerry Herkert of Camp Point, Illinois passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jerry Herkert to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Herkert and Thelma Hazelwonder Herkert; his brothers, Jack and Gene Herkert; and his son-in-law Murl David Leeders.
He is survived by: his wife Margie Wyatt; his children, Regina Leeders of St. Louis, MO, Nancy Herkert-Saracino of St. Louis, MO, Tracy Stephens (Mark) of Quincy, IL, Anthony Herkert of Quincy, IL, Becky Davis (Bill) of Mt. Sterling, IL and Samuel Herkert of Clayton, IL; and his sister Alice Hughes (Lucky) of Ormond Beach, FL. He is also survived by two sisters in law, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Thomas Hall (105 E Spring St, Camp Point, IL 62320). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St Thomas Catholic Church (109 E Spring St, Camp Point, IL 62320).
