He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Mensendike and Della Beatrice Dutton Mensendike; and his siblings, Gene, Ray, Richard Mensendike and Roena Crawford.
He is survived by: his wife Kathryn Dawson; and his sister Bonnie Huss (Phil). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
