He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Fleer and Velma Fleer (Hurlbert); his wife Mary Lou Schaefer; his son-in-law Randy Tittsworth; his grandson Kelton Peter; and his sister Sue Lynn Fleer.
He is survived by: his children, James L. Fleer (Lisa LaRue), Quincy, Lisa Tittsworth and Stephanie Fleer; his grandchild Reanah Vaughn (Andrew) of Ursa, IL; his children, Shawna Riggs (Nate) of Jacksonville, FL, Jenna Fleer (Tyler Carpenter), Victoria, Jocelynn Wagy of Tacoma, WA, Genevieve and Annalise Peter; his great grandchildren, Chanel, Presley, Axl and Halen Riggs of Jacksonville, FL; his grandchild Alahni Wagy of Tacoma, WA; and his brother Dennis Fleer (Marilyn) of Cedar Rapids, IA. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lummis-Hamilton Funeral Home (110 School St, Camp Point, IL 62320). A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to the Great River Honor Flight or the Timberpoint Healthcare Center Activity Fund.
