With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Helen J Gallamore of Camp Point, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 29, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Helen's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Helen has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bert Abbott and Mabel Ward Abbott; and her siblings, Annie Mae Hogge, Bill and Bob Abbott.
She is survived by: her brother Ralph Abbott of Richmond, VA; her sister-in-law Dodie Abbott; and her great-niece Kimberly Abbott. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Faith Baptist Church (1926 State Hwy 94, Camp Point, IL 62320). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Faith Baptist Church.
