She was predeceased by: her parents, George Samuel and Goldie Violet Skiles Phillips; her husband Woodrow Pershing Russell; and her siblings, William J. Phillips, George H. Phillips, Vern D. Phillips, Temple, Benny Loren and Frederica Heaton.
She is survived by: her daughter Goldie Musick (Dennis "Denny").
