With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carl William Olson Jr. of Cameron, Illinois, born in Monmouth, Illinois, who passed away on September 30, 2022 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl William Sr. and Cathryn Olson (Gettemy); his son Robert Olson; his grandson Joshua Olson; and his sister Marjorie Trout.

He is survived by: his wife Gladys Olson of Cameron, IL; his children, Ray Olson (Barb) of Bloomington, IL, David Olson (Sherry) of Washington, IL, Barb Dupre (Don) of Monmouth, IL and Roger Olson (Aimee) of Mascoutah, IL; his grandchildren, Kyle Olson (Kady), Alexander Olson, Elizabeth Olson, Alexandra Spisak (Daniel), Kimberly Olson, Kelly Dupre, Matthew Olson (Jessica), Laura Dupre and Kayla McPherson; and his great grandchildren, Elleanor Olson, Lucille Olson, Rowan Spisak and Isabella Flores. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be given to the Monmouth American Legion.
