She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Harry "Dud" and Maxine Simkins (Carlson); her children, Kim Moriairty (Joe), David Casteel and Derek Casteel (Angela); her grandchildren, Tom Moriarity (Stormi), Wyatt Moriarity, Nick Casteel (Amber), Travis Casteel (Ashley), Jarrod Casteel (Brittany), Dalton Casteel and Brant Casteel; her great grandchildren, Preston Moriarity, Hailey, Madison, Jase Casteel, Cambell, Preslee Casteel and Briar Rose Casteel; her nieces, Jill Berger, Cheryl Drescher and Sharon Mulder; her son Kevin; her grandson Matt; and her siblings, Harry "Butch" Simkins, Jackie Finin and Sue Ann DeMay.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research, the Bright Beginnings Program at Cambridge Elementary, or the Cambridge Lutheran Church.
