It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Carey of Cambridge, Illinois, born in Moline, Illinois, who passed away on June 18, 2020, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Lauritzson and Evelyn Veys Lauritzson; her husband Jack Carey; and her brother John. She is survived by: her children, Ed Carey (Angi), Connie Peterson (Dewey), Ronnie Carey (Stacey) and Jackie English (Dave); and her siblings, Marie Taylor (Bob) of Austin, MN, Janice Noe (Dick), Nancy Larsen and Tom Shipman (Sue). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the Ruth Ann Carey Memorial Fund.
