It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Lowell Hess of Cambria, Illinois, who passed away on January 14, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Lowell Hess to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Carl and Janis Ferrol Hess (Ross); and his sisters, Jolene Grissom and Wanda Sue Hess. He is survived by: his wife Jackie Hess of Cambria; his daughter Treva Hess of Carterville; his siblings, Darla Smith of Carterville, Randy Hess of Carterville and David Hess (Cindy) of Jeffersonville, Indiana; and his pet Rosie. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Riggin-Pillatsch & Burke Funeral Home (322 N Division St, Carterville, IL 62918). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
