Walter Stanley Sorrells Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Walter Stanley Sorrells of Calumet City, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 18, 2025 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Walter departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Walter may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Walter leaves behind.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Walter Sorrells and Mary Sorrells; his fiancée Carol Armstrong; his stepchildren, Sean Masters (Kaitlyn Park) and Ashley Hatfield (Henry); and his grandchildren, Brody, Mason Masters, Ryland and Briley Hatfield.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Praise International (1414 Archer Ave, Fort Wayne, IN 46808).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Praise International.
