She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Young and Dollie Mae Young; and her siblings, Gertrude Woods, Tom Young (late Charlotte), John Young, Clarence Young, Michael Young and Terry Young.
She is survived by: her daughter Lori M. Sykes; her grandchildren, Quiave Sykes and Quilaila Sykes-Fleming; her brother Walter Young; and her sisters-in-law, Mae Young and Druscilla Young.
