He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley and Rose; and his siblings, Richard Mika and Lorraine McNulty. He is survived by: his significant other Josephine; his daughters, Nancy Mika and Cheryl Patterson (Jeffrey); his grandchildren, Alyssa Colbrese (Daniel), Ryan Patterson and Kyle Patterson; and his great grandchild Carter Joseph. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 8:45 AM to 9:45 AM at the Castle Hill Funeral Home (248 155th Pl, Calumet City, IL 60409). A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 at 4:00 PM and on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 9:45 AM to 10:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Andrew the Apostle Church (768 Lincoln Ave, Calumet City, IL 60409). A burial was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at the Holy Cross Cemetery (801 Michigan City Rd, Calumet City, IL 60409).
