He is survived by: his brother John Freberg (Valerie) of Chicago; his nephews, Daniel Freberg and Craig Freberg (Brandy); his great-nephew Craig Freberg, Jr.; his great-niece Penelope Freberg; and his friend Jill Jensen. He is also survived by animal.
