It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Wheeler (Caledonia, Illinois), who passed away on December 25, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Don Wheeler and Ethel Wheeler; and his parents-in-law, Leon and Maxine Shattuck. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn; his children, Jerry Ashens (Karen), Brett Ashens and Amy Guthrie (Glen); his grandchildren, Emily Ashens (Jackson Kirane), Brock Ashens, Abby Guthrie and Glen Guthrie IV; his siblings, Eugene Wheeler (Carolyn), Doug Wheeler (Debbie) and Kathy Clayton (Mike); and his brothers-in-law, Lee Shattuck (Vicki) and Fred Shattuck (Linda). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
