He was predeceased by: his sister Kathie Wentz; his brother-in-law Dennis Wentz; and his nephews, Kyle and Kerry Wentz. He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his children, Steven Loewecke (Angela), Jacob Loewecke (Kylie) and Jennah Mariani (John); his grandchildren, Henry, Dylan, Emmy, Piper, Quinn and Ella; his siblings, Debbie Johnson (Dale) and Kenneth Loewecke Jr. (Cheri); and his aunt Elaine Tanney. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family or Caledonia Congregational Church.
