It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Emmons S Brown of Caledonia, Illinois, who passed away at the age of 83, on February 8, 2023. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dora Stacy Pooley and George Brown (Betty); and his brother James Brown. He is survived by: his wife Dr. Liz Brown; his daughter Lynne Arellano (Hugo) of El Paso, TX; his cherisheds, Coons Willie of Maine, Leonard, Soriana, Etta, Chloe, Trixie and Bella; his sister-in-law Diane Brown; and his brothers, Ed and Stacy Pooley.

In lieu of flowers, Liz requests that donations be made to Team One Step (http://cosil.convio.net) (Camp One Step) to benefit children with cancer.

“Liz and family, So sorry to hear of Emmons passing. We knew it was eminent. Some blessings are hard. I know the journey has been rough, but pray that you will remember Emmons prior to his illness. Emmons knowledge of the Maine Coon breed was remarkable and he will be missed by many, but especially in the Cat Fancy. Rest well Cat Daddy. We will always be grateful for our big red boy LAPD Rusty Bucket of Chemicoons. He was the best from the best.”
