We are sad to announce that on May 26, 2019, at the age of 59, Sandra K. Rush (Cairo, Illinois) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Leon Jeffries; her brothers, Gene Martin, Joe Simelton and Steve Simelton; and her granddaughters, Amiya Lee and Avielle Strayhorn.
She is survived by: her husband Kenneth F. Rush; her mother Bernice Simelton; her children, Carissa Strayhorn (Jimmy) of Horn Lake, MS., Kenneth Rush, Jr., Jamond Rush, Sanara Rush and Jheric Rush; her stepson Kamunde Sharp; and her siblings, Larry Martin, Janice Russell, Katherine Simelton, John Simelton (Ernestine), Roy Simelton and Kenneth Simelton. She is also survived by five grandchildren, bonus siblings, special friends like sisters and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and other relatives and friends.
