It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn Comte of Cairo, Illinois, born in Murphysboro, Illinois, who passed away on June 11, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Eugene David Comte; her daughter Nancy Marie Comte; and her grandson Brenton C. Comte. She is survived by: her children, Frances A. Comte of Olive Branch, IL, Jenny G. Comte of Cape Girardeau, MO and David; her daughter-in-law Minta Comte of Cairo; and her grandchildren, Jacob Comte, Taylor Harris and Andrew Ponder.
