She was predeceased by: her brothers, Henry Carlton, Willie Carlton, Norman Carlton, Billy Joe Carlton and Frankie Lee Carlton; and her brother-in-law Joe Nelson.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Carlton of Cape Girardeau and Taranica Kenny of Cairo; her siblings, Jimmy Carlton, Jr. (Linda) of Salisbury, Johnnie Carlton of Chicago, Melvin Carlton (Ora) of Davenport, Sylvester Carlton of Cairo, Ida Mae Clayton (Roosevelt), Geraldine Nelson of Cairo and Lillie Hopkin of Addison; and her sister-in-law Mozella Carlton of Kalamazoo. She is also survived by two grandchildren, four great grandchildren and a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
