He is also survived by Seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, friends.

“Mr. Davis left an indelible impression on me as one of his former band students in marching band and concert band. I still remember playing Adagio Contabile, The Prime of Miss Jean Broady, and Come Back to Sorrento in the spring concerts. Will never forget Mercy Mercy and Cisco Kid in marching band. Before President Obama showed us what swag really was, Mr. Davis showed us first. Rest in Peace and know that your memory lives on. You modelled excellence!”
