He is survived by: his children, Scotty Michelle, Iris Dale Garrett, Christopher Whitaker (Peyton), Antoine Bridges, Edward Whitaker (Crystal) and Mohammed Whitaker; his grandchildren, Diallo, Jade, Amaya, Haydon, Ashton, Trystan, Peyton, Bryar and Parker; his siblings, Charles Whitaker, Donnie Whitaker, Pastor Carl Whitaker (Nomie) and Clara Caldwell (Dennis); and his siblings-in-law, Eddie Mae Whitaker, Quincie Whitaker and Nathaniel Watts. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.
