He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Brown, Sr. and Odessa Brown; and his wife Diane Vaughn. He is survived by: his children, Lori Vaughn and Clarence Vaughn; and his close friends, Claude McNeal, James "Too Cool" Jackson and Barbara Hollis-Woodson. He is also survived by siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a large number of friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Massie Funeral Home (429 Oakley St, Mounds, IL 62964). A graveside service was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Green Lawn Memorial Garden Cemetery.
