He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Newbern and JoAnn Williams; his brother Daryle Newbern; his grandparents, L. D. and Dorothy Mealer; and his cousin Tammy Martin.
He is survived by: his siblings, Dorothy Newbern of Hillsboro, MO, Jackie Acup of Fenton, MO and Harold Newbern of Colorado; his aunt Pat Mees (Bob) of Columbia, IL; his uncle Ray Mealer (Louise) of Cedar Hill, MO; and his sons, Jordan Holten and Wayne Starz. He is also survived by six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
