It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Virginia A. Whetsel (Byron, Illinois), who passed away on June 7, 2019, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Reno Whetsel and Anna Whetsel (MacDonald); her siblings, Robert and Betty Jean; and her niece Elizabeth Schmidt.
She is survived by: her children, Lisa Hutchinson (Ron) of Harvard, IL and Jamie Whetsel (Lara) of Dixon, IL; her grandchildren, Anna Davidson, Tonya Shaw, Kyle Whetsel, Jessica Spinden (Kelson) and Leland Hutchinson; her great grandchild Mackenzie Shaw; and her sisters, Dixie Lindsey (Dick) of Rockford, Jeanne McDanel and Kapa'. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials are established for the Alzheimer's Association.
