It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Berg of Byron, Illinois, born in East Saint Louis, Illinois, who passed away on October 6, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Filmore Hamelmann and Ida Marie Hamelmann (Morganti); her husband Delmar Berg; her sons, John and Victor; her sister Phyllis; and her great grandchild Gabrielle Duke of Virginia.
She is survived by: her children, Bradley Berg (Linda) of Sparta, TN, Kevin Berg (Sara) of Franklin, NC, Anita Allgood (Dan) of Farmersville, IL, Ann Kowalczyk (Mark) of Stillman Valley and Annette Knisley (Mike) of Gering, NE. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 52 great-grandchildren; and two nieces and two nephews.
