He was predeceased by: his parents, L. Kruse Hoernecke and Ruth Hoernecke (Champlain); his wife Mary; and his sisters, Mary Ruth and Dorothy.
He is survived by: his daughter Joanne of Byron; his brother Robert Hoernecke (Patsy) of Oregon; his brother-in-law Gene Rodeffer (Debbie) of Cary, N. C.; his niece Tracy Vache (Curt); his close friend Reese Young; and his pets, Blondie and Peppers. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends.
