He was predeceased by: his parents, William A. Oesterheld and Hortense Oesterheld (Rodgers). He is survived by: his wife Virgie Oesterheld of Byron; his children, Jennifer Whitley (Phillip), Jeffrey Oesterheld of Byron and Jonathan Oesterheld (Patricia) of Byron; and his grandchildren, Onja and Kylie Oesterheld.

Due to Covid 19 restrictions, private funeral services will be held at Farrell-Holland-Gale Funeral Home, Byron.
