She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenn Anderberg and Mabel Anderberg (Gruis); and her sister Ruth Moen. She is survived by: her husband Curt Freeberg of Byron; her children, Lindsay Freeberg (Pete Schramm) of Madison, WI and Ryan Freeberg of Chicago; and her sisters, Myrna Wubbena of Peoria and Gwen Vietmeier (Fritz) of Winnebago. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Memorials may be directed to the local CASA or RVC to help fund scholarships for students.
