He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Personette and Aileen Personette (Hostetter); and his brother Stephen Personette. He is survived by: his wife Lori Kelser of Paul's Lutheran Church; his sons, Matthew of Byron, IL and Marc Personette of Byron, IL; and his nephew Stephen A. Personette (Laura) of Iowa.

A memorial fund is established in Michael Personette's name and may be directed to his family.
