She was predeceased by: her parents, Roland Nelson and Laura Nelson (Hobart). She is survived by: her husband Gary H. Winters of Rockford; her sister Marvel Blomberg of Rochelle, IL; her nieces, Jill Talbot of Streator, IL and Julie Steele of Wheaton, IL; her nephew Jim Blomberg of Rochelle, IL; and her cousin Karen Mitchell of Lake Geneva, Wisconsin.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Farrell Holland Gale Funeral Home - Byron (506 W Merchant St, Byron, IL 61010). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Farrell-Holland-Gale Funeral Home (506 W Merchant St, Byron, IL 61010).
A memorial fund is established in MaryEllen's name for the Rockford Rescue Mission.
