Northrop of Byron, Illinois, born in Saint Marys, West Virginia, who passed away on July 28, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Northrop and Betty Northrop; and his former wife JoAnn Northrop (Becker). He is survived by: his wife Karen; his children, Amy, Heather, John and Joslynn Lindsey (Cody); his grandchildren, Victoria, Jacob, Connor, Cohenn, Laine, Colton and Locklan; and his brothers, Richard Northrop (Freda), Robert Northrop (JoAnn), Beverly Olson (Terry), Randy Dietrich, Kris Mullins (Burns) and Mark Dietrich. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and loving friends.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been set up under JB's name at Holcomb Bank. Donations will be given to his favorite local club, Byron Sno-Blasters.
