He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Metoyer and Alfreda Metoyer (Dupre); his siblings, Leo Metoyer, Celene Rachal and Isanor Metoyer; his granddaughter Katie; and his son-in-law Thomas Wood.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Auzenne of Byron; his children, Connie Metoyer of Elgin, Genie Brown (Russell) of Coloma, WI, Patty Metoyer (Stan Prybyla) of Brecksville, OH, Ephrem Metoyer of South Elgin, Eddie Metoyer (Kelley Merkau) of South Elgin, John Metoyer of Chicago, Josephine Metoyer of Severance, CO and Helene Wood (Kevin Koszala) of Mansfield, OH; his siblings, Rita Thomas, Theresa Chelettte and Nazy LaCour; his grandchildren, Allison, Jason, Richard, Steven, Alix, Levi, Andrew, Samantha, Jorden, Jacob, Joshua, Jacque, Joey, Anthony, Victoria, Juliana, Kailani, Nick, Alyssa, Kyle, Devinn, Savannah, Megan, Paige, Brett, Evan and Mason; and his great grandchildren, Tyler, Brooklyn, Wesley, Zachary, Ashton, Tripp, Mateo, Braxton, Baylor, Gianna, Lucia, Dominic of Maura, TJ, Benjamin, Johnny, Audrey, Mila and Carter. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
