He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Sr. Lenox and Eva Lenox (Haight). He is survived by: his children, Amanda Archer (Marcus Blocker) of Winnebago, IL, Nicholas Severson (Angie) of Harrison, Carissa Johnson (Doug) of Stafford, VA and Kylie Lenox of Byron, IL; his siblings, Cynthia Lenox of Winnebago, IL, Mindy Stadel (John) of Rockford, IL, Matthew Lenox (Amy) of Pecatonica, IL and Mark Lenox of Winnebago, IL; his grandchildren, Kennedy (Jacob), Alyssa, Owen, Olivia, Miley and Jessie; his nephews, Gacob Lenox (Hannah) and Elijah Lenox (Becca); and his pet Remmi.
Memorials are established for the Chordoma Foundation for continuing research or in his name to be used for a scholarship for a Byron High School student who is part of the band.
