He was predeceased by: his parents, William L. Hogan and Anna May Hogan (Stine); his wife Dawn M. Hackney; his mother-in-law Imogene "Jean" Hackney; and his daughter-in-law Marcia Hogan.
He is survived by: his children, Kim Hogan of Byron, Jeanne Cobb (Andy) of San Antonio, TX, William "Pat" Hogan of Byron and Suzie Martinez (Pete) of San Antonio, TX; and his siblings, Mary Bontjes of Byron, William "Bill" Hogan (Patricia "Pat") of Byron and Charles "Chuck" Wilbur of Potomac. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
