She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Detig and Josephine Detig (Gruben); her husband Marvin Arthur Poliska; her siblings, Margaret Wills, Dorothy Brennan and Robert Detig; and her grandson Brent Poliska.
She is survived by: her children, Lynn Poliska (Kathy) of Rochelle, IL, Lisa Hardy (Terry) of Davis Junction, IL, Brian Poliska (Laurie) of Ashton, IL, Bruce Poliska (Pam) of Monroe Center, IL and Ann Wilt (Scott) of Cherry Valley, IL; her grandchildren, Tina Allred (Kory), Kurt Poliska (Caitlin), Kelli Appenzeller (Les), Allen Hardy (Kelly), Nola Eatherton (Phil), Amber Bolander (Erik), Brenda Etchberger (Kris), Connie Bays (Jim), Laura King, Katie Lombardo, Rob Lombardo, Nicole Disch, Keith Rader (Amanda), Lindsey Nelson (Al), Erik Zimmerman (Megan) and Stacy Zimmerman Jones (Devon); and her brother James Detig. She is also survived by 28 great grandchildren.
