We are sad to announce that on March 14, 2020, at the age of 91, Edward G. Putnal Jr. (Byron, Illinois), born in Atlanta, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Putnal and Pearl Putnal (E'Dalgo); and his wife Edith Dunn. He is survived by: his son Glenn Putnal (Michelle) of Naperville; his brother Richard Putnal (Irene) of Springfield, VA; and his grandchildren, Mackenzie of Glenn, IV, Cooper and Mallory.

“So sad to hear Uncle Ed died.. When I visited him in October he was as sharp as ever. His body may have been failing but his mind never did. He talked often about his grandchildren wishing he saw them more often. He always asked after everyone in the family and remembered their names and what they did. He was amazing! I will miss him. Sorry I will miss the services, but I am so happy for my visits and my calls to Ed while he was alive to enjoy them!”
