It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Barnes of Byron, Illinois, who passed away on September 7, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Betty Barnes to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Newhausen and Mary Newhausen (Aurand); her spouse Winfred H.; her brothers, Merle, Harold and Earl; and her grandson John.
She is survived by: her sons, Thomas Barnes (Nova Wise) of Rockford and Gerald Barnes (Bridget) of Rockford; her grandchildren, Michael Barnes, Nic Barnes and Sydney Barnes; her great grandchildren, Tyuanna and Gunner; and her sisters, Lois Miller (Dave) of Byron and Patricia Davis (Rick) of Byron.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic a private family service will be held with Pastor Randy Snider officiating.
Memorials in Betty's name are established for Unity Hospice or a charity of the donor's choice.
