He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence L. Stricker and Alma Stricker (Hoffman); his siblings, Herb Stricker and Marie Garnhart; and his former wife Donna Blair.

He is survived by: his close friend Denny; his daughter Sheri Dyson (Ryan) of Freeport; his brother Ralph Stricker; his granddaughter Cassidy Reese (Brandon) of Lanark; his great grandchildren, Kinsley and Wyatt; and his close friend Amber. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
