He was predeceased by: his grandson Andrew K. Wedekind; his sister Margaret Zastrow; and his nephew Richard Osborne. He is survived by: his children, Ann Butler (Jim), Barbara Clark (George), John Rundquist (Sherri), Martha O'Mara (Mark) and Becky Wedekind (Wayne); his grandchildren, John Rundquist (Kristal), Tyler Rundquist (Victoria), Kate Wedekind, Mike O'Mara (Cassie) and Kevin O'Mara (Rose); and his great grandchildren, Bode Niemeier, Bryce Niemeier and Aspen Rundquist.
Memorials – Hillsboro Educational Foundation Anita and Jack Rundquist Scholarship, Rundquist Family JBT Scholarship Fund at the University of Illinois Foundation, Butler Union Church.
